The intention of 'The Tap Tap Sign Painters' project was to commission the painting of a tap-tap sign for the Ghetto Biennale and to produce a video document of the making of the sign in collaboration with members of Tele Geto (the videographers of Ti Moun Rezistans). A local truck was converted into a tap tap and two local sign-painters took the commission. Alex from Tele Geto designed a new image and the painting was made on a detachable canvas that was attached to the front of the tap tap during the biennale. I am currently editing a final version of the video document which will be exhibited with the final canvas sign.
